The Rutland hat is a handmade felted wool hat. It is a classic toque. There’s enough brim to pull down for those REALLY cold days. Great for men also.
Felted wool is naturally water-resistant. When worn outside snow and light rain will not be absorbed.

Care of your felted wool hat
Hats without finishings can be washed in the washing machine in cold water on gentle cycle. Do not bleach. Do not machine dry.
Hats with bands or finishings can be hand washed.
